Acne and Exercise - Using the right
Equipment

There are people that are more likely to get acne than
others. If you get acne, especially body acne easily or have
your lesions aggravated in areas that are affected by sports
equipment you should take a closer look at this sports
equipment and how to wear it.
One of the main acne triggers when it comes to any sports
equipment is friction. The very best method to avoid equipment
related friction and corresponding acne breakouts is a good fit
of your sport equipment, especially including protective
devices.
Make sure that your wetsuit is not too
tight under your arms. Make sure your protective helmet
will not slide around your forehead and so on.
Curbing equipment related acne breakouts is easily possible
by lining your helmet with a layer of soft, washable cotton
fabric.
And no matter what kind of sport you are performing, always
make sure to keep all your sports equipment in a clean and dry
condition during idle times and when it is not in use.
